Dear M,

Things are wrapping up. Christmas in Sweden was like being in the heart of an old dust-covered fairy tale book–simply magical. My research in London and Sweden is now packed onto nine DVD tapes, about sixty pages of questionnaires, surveys, etc. and ten CDs that I bought from the PowerKidz. But my work is just beginning–there will months ahead devoted to deconstructing and reconstructing the entire experience for my thesis. Mostly, however, it all lives on within me–in my heart, my thoughts.

p.s.     One girl, in her interview, said that participating in her YMP project was the “most wonderful thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

p.p.s. For me, this was the most wonderful teaching experience ever!
