Too Many Families in Need — Not Enough Bags of Maize

People wait as distributors decide how to share the bags of maize among so many people.

They decide to empty the bags of rice and repack the maize in smaller bundles.

Smaller bags of maize are given out to the waiting crowd. Less maize per family but more families fed. This is one of the many challenges of food distribution in Malawi.
