For the last six years, I have been working at Century College in the Early Childhood Education and Montessori Programs,æ training studentsæ fromæAsia, Europe and theæMiddle East.æ Previously, I taughtæ and coordinated infant/toddler and preschool programs at the Pacific Immigrant Resources Society where all the children were learning English as a second language. My research interests are developing teacher indentity cross cultural contexts; language and literacy development; and a pedagogy of caring.
