David Jardine is the author of three books, Speaking with a Boneless Tongue (1992), To Dwell with a Boundless Heart (1998) and Under the Tough Old Stars (2000) as well as numerous articles on curriculum, hermeneutics and classroom practice. He is also the co-author with Patricia Clifford and Sharon Friesen, of the forthcoming book Back to the Basics of Teaching and Learning: From Breakdown to Interpretation, from Lawrence Erlbaum and Associates. He lives with his family in Bragg Creek, a small community in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains west of Calgary, Alberta.
