Fuling Li is attempting to be a “spicy” mother: looking and acting fashionably. To make her son proud of her is the priority of her hard work and success. She is now a graduate student at the School of Journalism at UBC. She also claims that to be a PHD would please her all her life while owning a BMW could only excite her one night. “Easy to feed but hard to convince” her father comments so on Fuling.
