Ardra Cole's two recent books are The Art of Writing Inquiry co-edited with Lorri Neilsen and L. Gary Knowles (2001) and Lives in Context: The Art of Life History Research (2001) co-authored with J. Gary Knowles. In her current research on caregiving and Alzheimer's Disease she is working in the genres of performance, photography, narrative, and multi-media installation art.
