Academic interests are developed around
recent developments in ecology and in the cognitive and complexity
sciences ... am particularly interested in the development of
teaching practices that embody recent insights into the emergence
of personal and collective knowledge ... ummm ... and other things.
Titles of some recently completed articles
include "It ain't right: An adventure in shaping understandings", "Why
aren't they getting this? Working through the regressive myths
of constructivist pedagogy" (with D. Sumara), and "Rhythms
of knowing: Toward an ecological theory of learning in action
research" (with R. Luce-Kapler and D. Sumara).
