I am currently completing research on cultural creativity, ecology and educating for responsible global citizenship with the support of a Killam Post-doctoral Research Fellowship. The book is entitled "Educating Ecological World Citizens." I have just published an article in the autumn 2001 issue of the on-line journal "Language and Literacy" on the pedagogical role of poetry in Tibetan education and popular resistance. I have two pieces appearing in sequence in upcoming editions of the GEOEC newsletter, and am preparing a public advocacy proposal on Earth-rights for the federal government with William E. Rees of the School for Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia.
