Live 8

This is an excellent example of people forming consciousness based on caring, peace, and justice. This is in resistance to ideologies that uphold contrary sentiment as I had explored in "Theory, Conflict, and Agency in eXistenZ."

Here, in "Live 8" new technologies are playing a key role in mobilizing consciousness to affect the world. A peaceful approach is based on compassion, empathy, or what people believe to be an appropriate way of treating others and what people believe to be possible in the world. "All of these deaths are avoidable."
