Sonia MacPherson researched cultural creativity, ecology and educating for responsible global citizenship with the support of a Killam Post-doctoral Research Fellowship. The work resulted in a book titled "Educating Ecological World Citizens." She published an article in the autumn 2001 issue of the on-line journal "Language and Literacy" on the pedagogical role of poetry in Tibetan education and popular resistance. After working at University of Alberta and University of Manitoba, she is now living in Vancouver, British Columbia.
