Tara Goldstein is a Professor and Associate Chair working in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (OISE/UT). Tara teaches and writes in the areas of anti-oppression education, critical ethhnography and performed ethnography. She has recently graduated from the MFA Playwriting Program at Spalding University, Louisville, Kentucky. Tara’s MFA thesis, Lost Daughter won the annual Canadian Jewish Playwriting Contest in 2005 and will be given a reading at the Miles Nadel Jewish Community Centre in Toronto in the spring of 2007. Her one-act play about fighting fat with a weight loss program called Pound Predators will be performed at the 2007 Toronto Fringe Festival.
