Teacher's Lived Writings

The location of writing. Writing as engagement. This is at the heart of the Urban Learner Program. The embedded space of the teacher/learner. whose life is enfolded and unfolded in the daily world she or he finds inside and outside of the classroom. The teacher/learner is placed in a cohort that seeks to engage. Each cohort engages in community, dialogue, and engages with varied texts/kind of texts to produce their own interwoven texts. Thus each cohort community engages in re/searching, re/seeing, re/viewing, the teacher/learner location. Placed here, by cohort, is a gallery of these texts as artifacts, engagements and journeyings.
